June 2013 — Bel Air, MD — Home Rehab

In a previous post, we mentioned an exciting home rehab project that we were involved in: Bel Air Rehab

The rehab of the 120+ year old victorian home in Bel Air, MD was finished in June 2013. When purchased, the house had been previously used as a 5 unit apartment building and was in disrepair. Welcome Home transformed the 4,200 square foot house into a 5 bedroom, 4.5 bath home. Welcome Home replaced the roof, windows, and siding and built a low maintenance wrap-around porch on the front and side of the house, and a smaller deck on the back of the house. The entire inside of the house was gutted and re-framed. Entirely new mechanicals — plumbing, HVAC, and electric — were done. New carpet, hardwood flooring, granite countertops, new cabinets, and stainless steel kitchen appliances were installed.

Another interesting tidbit about this house, after the rehab it was used in filming an episode of House of Cards.

Check out the finished product:

The house is currently still for sale by the owners. If you’re interested, check it out at: 142 Williams Street for Sale by Angela Revie at Keller Williams
